Yazaki Ryosuke "Kodousuru katachi"

Ryosuke Yazaki was born in Tokyo in 1965 and his grandfather is the late sculptor Torao Yazaki.
In 1988, he graduated from Nihon University College of Art, Department of Fine Arts, Sculpture, and then went to England to hold his first solo exhibition. In 2008, he won the Tateshina Kogen Museum Award, and in recent years has continued to present works in Los Angeles, New York, and Paris.
In addition, the installation of works is decided according to the opening of Park Hyatt Kyoto in 2019, and the range of activities is gradually expanding in Japan.
The main production method is carving a piece of wood, and we are pursuing the release of energy created by coloring it. The molding at the moment when a tree stands up as life itself is very primitive and has the power to appeal to space.
