Solo Exhibition Rebecca Salter

After graduating from Bristol Technical University, Rebecca Salter began her artistic career as a pottery artist.

She was fascinated by Japanese woodcut prints and paperwork techniques during her 6 years stay at Kyoto University of Arts and began to work on prints using the woodblock technique and making use of the paper's characteristics.

The "Beauty of Blankness" of the artist's works, which was explored by her views of the West and East, the ceramics and two-dimensional, are meditative and delicate.
